We have never been able to attract enough girls teams to run an exclusive girls competition. We don't have age groups, the grading and placement is based on ability. It has been our experience that most girls teams will face other girls teams of the same age but boys teams who are a year younger.

For boys teams we set requirement that the average age of a team must be within 18 months of an opponent. For girls teams we extend this to 24 months ie an Under 12 girls team can face an Under 10 boys team.

We have provided real examples from past competitions of the ages of teams, their gender and opponents under when/times
